August 26, 2011 Update
I have safely returned to Indiana and have been getting adjusted (which isn’t too hard) to life in the States. It’s been nice to be with friends and family again, and I’ve enjoyed some of the delicacies I had been missing – such as Mt. Dew and Taco Bell!
The first phase of New Staff Training is September 8-18. After that I hope to get in touch with each one of you to share more about my year and answer any questions that you might have. I also want to let you know what I have planned for the next 12 months.
Below, I attached the story of one of our students, Lisa, who recently became a Christian. She wrote out her testimony for my teammate, Shannon, but I wanted to share it with you, too. I always love hearing firsthand how God has worked in someone’s life. I hope you enjoy reading it!
